Bio
Doris Vieregge, 68, of Big Spring, died on Wednesday, December 22, 2010, in a Midland hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 24, 2010 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Joel Miller, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. She was born on June 16, 1942, in Big Spring, Texas and married Charles Vieregge in 1978. He preceded her in death on February 15, 2001. Doris was a lifelong resident of Big Spring. She owned and operated D & M Garden Center for 17 years and Flo-Lite Screen Print from 1980 until retiring in 2010. She was a member of the Big Spring Art Association and was of the Assembly of God faith. Survivors include one son, Jesse "Tiger" Crane III serving in the United States Army in Afghanistan and wife, Susan; two daughters, Daphne Crane of Big Spring and Tina Martin of Midland; one brother, J. C. Prevo and wife, Mary of Granbury; one sister, Ruby Bruns of Big Spring; and two grandsons, Henry Franco, Jr. of Austin and Chase Martin of Midland. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Mary Prevo.
