Bio
Nathan Wayne Marks, age 86, of Dallas, TX passed away on September 6, 2007. He was born on September 28,1920 in Celina, Texas to Fred and Bessie Maye (Callahan) Marks. Wayne graduated from Celina High School and went on to serve his country in the United States Army during WWII. He married Wanda Helen Dean in December of 1954. Wayne owned and operated an Exxon Gas Station in Grand Prairie. He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Melinda and Mike Morgan of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Melanie Morgan and Mason Morgan; brother Glenn Marks and his nephew, Gordon Marks and wife, Martha of Plano, Texas. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Wanda Marks. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2007 beginning at 2:00 PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Homes in Celina. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM following the visitation at Cottage Hill Cemetery in Celina with Rev. Dr. Mark Forrest officiating.
