Married Elaine V. Jelinek in Fremont, NE, 3 daughters (Alma Vlasak - Lincoln, NE, Susan E. Bollwitt - Homer, AK and Fran Thompson - Lincoln, NE), 2 grandchildren (Sarah Bollwitt & Zach Thompson), served in WWII for U.S. Air Corps (Cpl.). Strongly involved with the American Legion, Director for the Western Fraternal Life Association, rural mailcarrier for 35 years, speaking publicly to miscellaneous schools & at Memorial Day/Veteran Day engagements, as well as other various events speaking on his love of his country with great patriotism. Best husband, "daddy", grandpa, & Santa Claus only to name a few things. We love & miss you.
