Wilbanks Rites Funeral services for O.C Wilbanks, 67, of Bois d'Arc Community are set for 3 p.m. Tuesday at Hassell & Foster Funeral Home here with the Rev. Lyle Skeels officiating. Burial will be in Carroll Springs Cemetery in Anderson County. Mr. Wilbanks died early Monday morning in a local hospital after a long illness. A lifelong resident of Anderson County, he was a retired paint contractor and a member of Bois d'Arc Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gracie Ingram Wilbanks of Bois d'Arc; five sons, William Jesse Wilbanks of Fallon, Nev., Clovis Wilbanks of Frankston, Loyd Wilbanks of Palestine. Paul Wilbanks of Bois d'Arc and Daniel K. Wilbanks of Athens; two daughters. Mrs. Harry "Evelyn" Roberts and Mrs. William "Linda" Smith, both of Bradford; two brothers, E.A. Wilbanks and L.B. Wilbanks, both of Palestine; one sister, Mrs. Leona Till of Athens; 18 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Joel Brumley, Eddie Abney. Wade Wilbanks, Henry York, Ronnie Holcomb and William Lawrence Wilbanks. Honorary pallbearers will be Lloyd Lively, Amos Caskey, Vodie Arnold, LeGrand Morton and Charles Fletcher.
