Bio
Around 1871, William married Mary Jane Nix. They were enumerated in Marion County, Alabama in the 1880 U. S. Census. She died before the 1900 census was taken. They had five children who lived to adulthood: John Franklin Beasley, Louis Lafayette Beasley, Margaret Eliza Beasley, James Luther Beasley, and Oscar D. Beasley. William Beasley married Mary Catherine McKeever in Nauvoo, Alabama, on 30 January 1901. William and Mary Catherine were parents of two sons: Bryant "Bo" Beasley and Joseph C. "Joe" Beasley. William Beasley moved to Texas in 1890, settling first in East Texas, then later moving to Jones County, Texas.
