Bio

She was the daughter of Ones Franklin and Florence Foster Woodard. Her father is buried in Muse Cemetery. She was a saleswoman in a dress shop in Palestine. She shares a stone with her husband, Andy Elwood Ray. Their daughter, Bettye June Ray, is buried in Roselawn Park. Rosa Lee was residing in Palestine at the time of her death there 22 July 1984. She was survived by a daughter, LaQuita Ray Carillo of Palestine; a son, James Foster Ray of Palestine; a brother, O. F. Woodard of Oklahoma City; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Her obituary was published in the Palestine Herald-Press.
