He was 74. A native of Morgan County, he was the son of the late Dave C. Glass and Bessie Hibbard Glass. He had resided in Walton County most of his life and was retired from the Walton County Dept. of Roads and Bridges. He was a past director of the Walton Cattleman's Assn. Funeral Services were held March 2 in the Chapel of Arthur Bowick Funeral Home. The Rev. Hugh Minor officiated. Interment was in Rest Haven Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Queen, Julian Hammond, Steve Hannay, Rick Hannay, Wayne Brown and David Arnold. He is survived by his widow, Laura King Glass, two daughters, Mrs. Ron (Ruth Ann) McGehee of Atlanta and Mrs. Buddy (Jerry) Rawlins of Snellville, a son John R. Glass of New Port Richey, Fla., step-son, Woodrow Mincey of Monroe, Five sisters, Mrs. John (Frances) Queen, Mrs Rolene G. Autry both of Monroe, Mrs. John (Sarah) Hannay of Athens, Ms. Evelyn G. Havel of Atlanta and Ms. Mabel G. Jones of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., step-mother, Mrs. Jim (Ree) Brooks of Monroe, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Arthur Bowick, Inc.
