Published in the Athens Review April 29, 1948 Funeral services for Mrs. Josie Lambright, 50, who died Monday in a Jacksonville hospital after an extended illness, were held Tuesday April 20, at 2 o'clock at the New Hope Church.The services were conducted by the Rev. H.C. Johnson, with interment in the Carroll Springs Cemetery.Mr. Lambright, whose home was on route 3, Jacksonville, near the New Hope community, was a member of the Methodist Church at Antioch.Surviving are her husband, C.G. Lambright; two sons, William Travis Lambright of Texas City and Prentiss Lambright of Jacksonville; six daughters, Mrs. F. Pate, Mrs. A.L. Akin and Mrs. A.J. Merchant of Jacksonville, Mrs. Everett Vassar of Athens and Miss Ruby Nell Lambright of Jacksonville; and three sisters and one brother.
