Bio

Coy Deoma Ward, 97, of Waco, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 3, at Kosse Cemetery with the Rev. Blake Herridge officiating. Coy was born near Kosse, Texas, to the late Freddie M. and Deoma (Glover) Ward. She worked at the Federal Trade Commission for many years. Coy was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church in Waco. She was preceded in death by five sisters; one brother; and three nephews. She is survived by her sisters, Leatrice Henley, of Burnet, Texas, and June Rueter and husband, Wayne, of China Spring; brother, Paul Ward, of Houston; and 11 nieces and nephews.
