Because whoever did the research did it haphazardly...... Meaning..... VERY BAD!!!!! Or Either ppl are copying this crap or your accepting someone's lousy research. I'm correcting so much on a FS on the family and linked family's. ... Note...... Jerry AND Josy were still together in 1900. Why I know that...... CENSUS... It state they were married 1881...19 yrs. Which included all her children born before that date. The mistake the researcher FAILED to do, was to hunt for a lic using her MARRIED names. Even after they divorced, she was to receive his pension and death benefits. Odviously, though they divorced, they stayed on good terms. Back to marriages....... If she was on the census.... that that means the date found was not for her. Why? MAIDEN NAME! Tell me, how many women actually change their name after a divorce especially after having several children and even moreso in that time and locale? Women pushing hard for WOMEN POWER here in the USA was 1890ish... in cities like NYC and large cities along the coast, Chicago, SF, LA, Seattle but the states more farming communities were always last. ...... No matter..... here's proof of atleast the 1900 census.... direct copy and paste Just this 1 item kills enough information or disinformation someone provided. .... ...
