Mae Ellington Jordan, 92, of Santa Maria, Calif., formerly of Paris, died Saturday, Jan 7, 1989, at Santa Maria. Born Dec. 30, 1896, at Magazine, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Eli Pinkney Ellington and Retta (Ladd) Ellington. Her husband was the late Bethel Jordan. She was a homemaker. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 12, at White Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with Rev. Gorman Daniel officiating. Burial will be at Ellington Cemetery at Magazine under the direction of White Funeral Home. She is survived by one son: Thurman Jordan of Fort Smith; four daughters, Mabel Serta and Aneita Man, both of Sacramento, Calif., Arwelia Davison of Santa Maria, Calif., and Dorothy Rhinehart of New Blaine; one sister, Minnie Findley of Booneville; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
