Arthur F. Styskal, 79 years of Fremont, NE entered into eternal rest December 3, 2010 at Fremont Area Medical Center in Fremont. He was born September 5, 1931 at David City, NE to Frank and Verna (Kobza) Styskal. He grew up in Wahoo, NE and attended school at St. Wenceslaus Catholic School. Arthur married Shirley M. Kuss January 5, 1950 at Maryville, MO. The couple celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary January 5, 2010. He was employed by Kavich Furniture for 36 years and most recently retired from Schweser's Warehouse. Arthur enjoyed life by spending time camping, attending his grandchildren's sporting events and participating in outdoor activities. He is survived by: Wife – Shirley; Sons – Steve (and wife Stephanie) Styskal, Allen (and wife Sue) Styskal and Matthew (and wife Debbie) Styskal, all of Fremont; Daughters – Sandy (and husband Steve) Schwanke and Shelley (and husband Rod) Thayer, all of Fremont; Grandchildren – Tricia Homan, Cory Styskal, Bryce Schwanke, Adam Schwanke, Kyle Styskal, Jordyn Styskal, Kirsten Styskal, Ryan Thayer and Jay Thayer; and 1 Great Grandson – Caedmon Schwanke. He was preceded in death by: Parents; Son – Arthur Styskal Jr.; two Brothers; and one Sister. A prayer service for Arthur Styskal 79, of Fremont, will be 7:30 p.m. today in the visitation room at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. The Rev. Scott Jensen, Fremont Area Medical Center Chaplain, will officiate today's service. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. today with family receiving friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
