Arlene was born January 2, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Sarah Smith Anderson and Clarence V. Judd. Clarence died in 1950 and in 1952 Sarah married Arlene's step-father David Quentin Anderson. Arlene attended schools in California and Salt Lake City, where she graduated from East High School. Her work brought her career to Beehive Clothing as a Lead Auditor for the Church. Arlene worked hard for many years to selflessly care for her children and provide them with many years of fond memories. Arlene enjoyed sewing and crocheting, as well as baking and music. Her work was outstanding. She won many awards and ribbons at the County & State Fairs, but no award was so great than that of her children and grandchildren who benefited from the many clothes, blankets and afghans. She will be remembered for her generosity and how she always faced life's problems with a twinkle in her eye and a prayer in her heart. She served as Cub Scout Leader; Primary President and then Young Women's President. On July 23, 1992 Arlene married George William (Bill) Tyson and they spent 16 years together as husband and wife.
