Bio

Norma Douglas, 81, of Waco, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 28, 2010, at her home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, November 30, at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 800 North New Road, with Pastor Paul Krupicka officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Norma was born in Malone, Texas, to the late Fredrick Wilhelm "Fred" and Sedwig "Hattie" (Manske) Trojan. She graduated from 4-C Business College in Waco. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church Morning Meditation Class and McGregor Garden Club. Norma was preceded in death by her brothers, Victor Trojan, Harold Trojan, and Milton Trojan; and sisters, Ora Ballance and Viola Hennig. Survivors include her sons, Brian Hennig, of Gatesville, and David Hennig and his wife, Pam, of Lott; daughter, Marquita Schnaufer and her husband, Russell, of Mart; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Thelma Trojan, of Irving; several nieces and nephews; loving friend, Don Waddell, of Roby; and other relatives and friends.
