US Navy WWII Services for Robert "Bob" Athey, 48, are scheduled for 12:30 Sunday in the Oakley-Metcalf Chapel with the Reverend H. Earl Calloway and the Reverend George Dodson officiating with burial in the Huntington Cemetery. Mr. Athey of 405 Renfro Drive, Lufkin, died in a local hospital Friday afternoon. He was born Oct. 3, 1927 in Lufkin and resided in Houston for several years. Mr. Athey had resided back in Lufkin for the past seven years and was an electrician. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of the DAV. Mr. Athey was a Baptist. The body will lie in state at Oakley-Metcalf. Survivors: * wife, Cassie Marceil (Forrest) * daughters, Mrs. Belinda Buck of Houston and Myra Jean of Lufkin * son, Ralph Edward of Lufkin * parents Mr. and Mrs. T.E.
