Bio
On January 24, 1922, in Pleasant Grove, TX, the Lord sent a special person to this Earth. After eighty years, He was ready to have her Home. Heaven's gates were opened on February 19, 2002, as a cherished Mama, Nanny, sister and friend was peacefully lifted from Mesquite, TX and returned to be with her Creator. Known and loved by many who will remember her laughter and smiles, funny stories, creativity, and exuberant energy, Charline's absence will leave an empty space in our lives, while forever holding a warm place in our hearts. A lifetime homemaker, she passed on her love of the Lord, excitement for life and desire to make others happy to all of those around her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jo Jobson and son, Marc Jobson. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Darryl and Penny Jobson; grandchildren Lisa Pogue and husband Greg, Corey Hatzenbuehler and husband Israel, John Jobson and wife Jami; and Marcie Bartwell; great-grandchildren Christopher Wilkins, Mickenzie and Jagr Hatzenbuehler, Hannah and Savannah Jobson, and Jordan and Parker Pogue; sister Maxine Webb; brother and sister-in-law Don and Dorothy Bruton; sisters-in-law Helen Barton and Wilhemenia Bruton; sister-in-law and brother-in-law James and Anita Rutledge; and many extended family and friends. Visitation will be at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home Fri., Feb. 22, 9am - 9pm. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6pm - 9pm. Funeral Services will be Sat., Feb. 23, 11:00 am at Pleasant Grove Christian Church, Dallas, TX. Interment will follow at Mesquite City Cemetery. Born in Pleasant Grove, Texas on Jan. 24, 1922 Departed on Feb. 19, 2002 and resided in Mesquite,, TX.
