Inez L. Amos, 89, of The Kensington, died Thursday, November 21, 2002 at Perkins Pavilion. Inez was born November 2, 1913 in Gates, Nebraska to Silas & Charlotte (Duff) Ash. Inez attended High School at Sargent, Nebraska. She was a sales person and bookkeeper for J.C. Penney's and also for Budweiser Company. On August 26, 1931, she married Kirk L. Amos in Grand Island, Nebraska and he preceded her in death on September 25, 1999. She moved from Sargent, Nebraska to Hastings, Nebraska in 1941. Inez was owner/operator of The Ritz tavern from 1945 to 1947. From 1947 to retirement in 1972, she owned Kirk's Liquor and Sports Center. Inez was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kirk and 1 brother. Survivors are: Daughters & Sons-in-law: Joyce & Bill McGee - Rockwall, TX Reta & Charles Lee - Daleville, VA Son & Daughter-in-law: Richard & Treva Amos - CA 8 Grandchildren 16 Great Grandchildren 2 Great-Great Grandchildren Sister: Lola Morse - CA
