Bio
Mrs. Angeline Sallee, aged 70 years, died at her home on the Bruner's Chapel road, near Cornishville, at 1:30 a.m. March 20, 1939. She was a charter member of the Baptist church at Cornishville and faithful in all its activities as long as her health permitted. At the time of her death she was one of the oldest members of the congregation. She is survived by her husband, Luke Sallee, to whom she was married 55 years ago. She also leaves a half-brother, James Sallee and a nephew, Herman C. Sallee, all of Cornishville. The funeral was conducted at he Battle Baptist church at 2:30 Tuesday, with the Rev. Charles W. Devine conducting the service. Burial in the Battle cemetery. The casket bearers were Tom Adkinson, Morgan Gabhart, Ben Bottom, Sabe Noel and Marvin Sallee.
