Hharriet e Mitchell #62129807 was the widow of james cathey Mitchell. her maiden name was Rhodes. james c and harriet brought most of their family to Vernon co, mo about 1902. james c passed away in dec 1938 at which time I believe harriet returned to Moultrie co. she had one daughter cora who hafn't come to mo and many kin in the Rhodes family. Samuel Daniel's father was George Washington Mitchell. I do not kinow why his middle name is not on his gravestone. I take it that you have a connection to Martha Elizabeth lansden. thanks for what you do. I am a 2grgs of Samuel and Martha thru Anderson m to my matertnal gm Martha lela Mitchell.
