MARIE STOUT Carthage, Mo.__Marie Stout, 514 Euclid St., died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday at a local nursing home after a short illness. Mrs. Stout was born in Pierce City. She had lived in Carthage for 57 years, moving here from Neosho. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church. She married John David Stout, Sr. on Feb. 8, 1917, at Pierce City. He died Nov. 7, 1967. Surviving is a daughter, Ellen Pryor, Carthage. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Neosho IOOF Cemetery. The Rev. Bob McCombs will officiate. The family will received friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at Ulmer Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or First United Methodist Church.
