Bio

John W. Williams was born on March 24, 1859 in Calcasieu Parish, LA. He was the son of Isaac Williams from Alabama and Martha Reeves from Louisiana. He married his first cousin, Leona Mae Hagar, on January 28, 1880 in Orange County, Texas. They were the parents of one child, John "Eddie" Williams born July 3, 1882. John died at his father's residence, near Lake Charles, Thursday evening, August 3, 1882, aged twenty-three years, five months and ten days.
