Bio

Kenneth Wayne Wilkinson a kind hearted husband and father, passed away November 21, 2010, at the age of 67. He was born March 31, 1943 to John B. Wilkinson and Winnie Faye Edwards Wilkinson in Lubbock, Texas. He received his Bachelors and Masters Degree in Administration... Kenneth served his country in the United States Navy. He was a teacher at Woodlawn and Wilson Elementary, a Facilitator for Kostoryz and Sam Houston Elementary. He served as Principal in Kingsville at Perez Elementary and in Calallen at Magee Elementary. Kenneth was also involved with the Texas Education Agency He is preceded in death by his parents John B. Wilkinson and Winnie Fay Wilkinson. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Dee M. Wilkinson of Corpus Christi; one son, Kenneth Kyle (Holly) Wilkinson of Corpus Christi, Texas; one daughter, Deidra Wilkinson (Ray) Lytle of Chatham, Illinois; three grandchildren, Sienna Jewel Wilkinson, Gavin Wayne Wilkinson and Isabella Grace Lytle; one brother, John B. (Julie) Wilkinson of Corpus Christi, Texas; and numerous nephews, nieces, sisters and brothers-in-law, cousins and a host of friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, November 24, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
