Bio

She was the daughter of James Washington Curtis and Mary Jane Moore who were married March 4, 1852 in Washington County, Arkansas. She was the granddaughter of Benjamin Browning Curtis and Mary "Polly" Browning. Martha married David A. Weems, son of James Thomas Weems and Elizabeth Bunch, and they were the parents of: 1. Rev. James Thomas Weems 2. Susie 3. Ruth 4. Grace [Note: dates on memorial marker are different from dates on her death certificate.]
