The following appeared in the Lufkin Daily News Jan 12, 2004 Luzzine Forrest Funeral services for Luzzine Forrest, 77, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Anglin officiating. Forrest was born Oct 15, 1925. She died Friday. Survivors: sister, Lividas Townsend; daughters, Vicki Sanger, Deborah DuPree, and Linda Hopkins; stepson Dennis Forrest; stepdaughter Debbie Forrest; sons-in-law Jay DuPree, John Sanger, and Terence Hopkins; grandchildren, Ashley DuPree, Pvt.
