Bio
Cora Weisinger is buried in the Box family plot, along with Lee Box, Allen Phocian Box, Maud Box Curry, J.T. "Jack" Box, and Myrtle Box Owens. I believe the other Box family members are her children. Other children listed on the 1920 Census for Houston County are, Aubrey, Gladen, Henry, and Hortence. If I am correct, then she was born Cora Elizabeth Meredith, the daughter of Herbert and Almeda Meredith. Her parents are buried in Garden of Memories in Elkhart. Cora married Allen M. Box and I have no record of his burial. After his death she married a Weisinger. --- Cora was my great grandmother. Your citation says you don’t know where her first husband is buried. He murdered a man and died in Huntsville, so I’m sure he is buried wherever they bury convicts. If you learn the answer, can you email me [email protected] ?
