Birth and death dates and locations, mother's maiden name Taylor, from California Death Index Records. ~~~ The Chico Enterprise-Record (Chico, California) 10 May 1958, Saturday Page 1 (continued): Dr. Dahlman was a veteran of World War I, which he served as a first lieutenant with the United States Army, and during the Mexican rebellion in 1916, served with the California National Guard Unit stationed at the Mexican border. Dr. Dahlman took an active interest in various activities, and belonged to the Los Angeles University Club, the Uplifter's Club, the Executive Club, the Brentwood Country Club, the American Legion, the California State Orthodontist Society, the Chico Rotary Club, Chico Lodge No. 111, F&AM, the Al Malaikah Temple, and the Shrine Changers of Los Angeles. In addition, he served as a member of the Chico city school board for four years and also was actively interested in music. He played in various bands. In addition to his wife, Loreen Dahlman, Dr. Dahlman is survived by two brothers, Clyde Dahlman of Chico and Sherman Dahlman, of Los Angeles. There are also four nieces and one nephew surviving. ~~~ 62-year-old Homer Augustus Dahlman was interred, per the Chico Cemetery Association Records, in the plot noted, on May 19, 1958.
