Eddie Dale Allison, 79, of Wichita Falls died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, in Wichita Falls. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in New Electra Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Braggs of Lakeside Baptist Church officiating. Services are under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. August 17, 1931 - November 17, 2010 Allison was born in Electra to Whipple and Ruby Lee (Blankenship) Allison. He was a self-employed entrepreneur most of his life dabbling in many different businesses, mostly in the oil industry. Survivors include wife, Margaret; six children; and 10 grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls. A graveside service has been scheduled for 3:00 pm, Friday, November 19, 2010 at New Electra Cemetery in Electra, TX officiated by Reverend Tommy Braggs of Lakeside Baptist Church. Eddie was born August 17, 1931 in Electra, TX to Whipple and Ruby Lee (Blankenship) Allison. He was a self employed entrepreneur most of his life dabbling in many different businesses, mostly in the oil industry. Mr. Allison is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Allison; six children; ten grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 6:00-7:00 pm, Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home. If desired, memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
