Bio

George J. Willenborg, 55, longtime resident of Wichita Falls died Friday, Jan 12, in an Oklahoma City VA Hospital. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Raymond Scott, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Mr. Willenborg was born Aug. 18, 1912 at Tours. He was a retired carpenter and bricklayer and had lived in Wichita Falls for 50 years. Survivors are his wife; five brothers, Charles of Irving, John of Sulphur, La., Robert and Lawrence both of Fort Worth, and Eugene of Arkansas City, Ark.; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Fickling of Vinita, Okla., Mrs. Evelyn Boyd of Murfreesboro, Ark., and Mrs. Dorothy Addinson of Quanah, Texas.
