------------------------- The Columbus, NE. Telegram, May 22, 1976 KOZISEK - Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Fremont, for a former Columbus man, Leonard A. Kozisek, 53, who died Thursday in an Omaha hospital. A World War II veteran who was a prisoner of war in Germany for 14 months, he will be buried with military honors in Calvary Cemetery, Fremont. Visitation begins at 1 p.m. today at Moser Memorial chapel, Fremont, where rosary services are scheduled Sunday at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Former employe of Montgomery Ward in Columbus, Mr. Kozisek lived in Fremont the last 19 years and was a veterans employment representative for the Nebraska Job Service. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans and Knights of Columbus. Born April 10, 1923 at Abie, he married Sally Kucera Nov. 5, 1949 at David City, where he also lived for a time. Surviving are his wife; three children, David of Countryside, Ill., Douglas and Diana of Fremont; father, Louis, and sister, Mrs. Rose Svoboda, both of David City.
