Times Record; Monday, August 25, 1975; p. 5 (Fort Smith, Arkansas) Funeral services for Earl Edwards, 73, of Muldrow will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial will be in the U. S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. Edwards died Saturday in a Fort Smith hospital. Survivors include two daughters, Wyenema Willenborg of Bay City, Tex. and Jane Ann Edwards of Detroit, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Grey and Miss Linnie Edwards, both of Alma; three brothers, Rhuel and James, both of Fort Smith and Oak of Kibler and several nieces and nephews. ∼ Sequoyah County Times; Thursday, August 28, 1975; p. 3 (Sallisaw, Oklahoma) Services for William Earl Edwards of Muldrow, 73, were held Tuesday, Aug. 26 at 10 a.m. in the Agent Chapel with the Rev. Audra Martin officiating. Burial was in the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark., under the direction of Agent Funeral Home. Mr. Edwards was born in Alma, Ark., on May 10, 1902 and died in a Fort Smith hospital on Saturday, Aug. 23. He was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by two daughters, Wyenema Edwards Willenborg of Bay City, Tex., and Jane Ann Edwards of Detroit, Mich.; three brothers Rhuel and James of Fort Smith, and Oak of Kibler, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Grey and Miss Linnie Edwards both Alma, and several nieces and nephews.
