Clyde Moreland Services for Mr. Clyde Moreland, 77, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, at Main Street Baptist Church with Bro. Ronald Cantrell, Bro. Tom Pesnell and Bro. Bobby Charles Dagnel officiating. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline. Mr. Moreland passed away Nov. 12, 2010, in Grand Saline. He was born Aug. 19, 1933, in Grand Saline. He spent all of his life in Grand Saline where he owned and operated Moreland's Tax Service for the last 20 years. Mr. Moreland was a member and deacon at Main Street Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his mom and adoptive father, Lula Becker Moreland , Clyde Moreland ; father, Clyde Trego; grandson, Ronny Clyde Morleland, Jr ; .; and granddaughter, . Brandy Gayle Woodrum . Survivors include wife of 57 years, Shirley Moreland of Grand Saline; son, Ronnie Moreland of Grand Saline; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Jessie Woodrum of Grand Saline; brother and sister-in-law, David and Denise Moreland of Tyler; sister and brother-in-law, Betsy and Buddy Furr of Grand Saline; three grandchildren, Shane Woodrum, Amanda Moreland and Brandon Moreland; and great-grandchild, Jaycee Whitehead. Pallbearers will be Terry Tolar, Scott Bartley, Doyle Milliorn, Kerry Kindle, H.C. Lee and Paul Elliott. Memorials may be made to Woodside Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 543, Grand Saline, 75140.
