Bio
Connie Hines, 72, of Waco, passed away Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, at her residence. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Bradburn officiating and John Stokes reciting the eulogy. Burial will follow in Moore Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 16, at the funeral home. Connie June was born in Ellis County, Texas, to the late Arthur and Willie Mae (Stout) Hines. She was raised in Itasca and was a longtime resident of Waco. She was also the owner and operator of Town & Country Used Cars for 18 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Wayne Menzdorf; a daughter, Anita Ann Seay; grandchildren, Amy and Richie Black; and a sister, Ruby Hines. Survivors include her daughters, Connie L. Blackwell, Tammie Gillespie, DeAnna Schmidt Goin, all of Waco, and Sylvia Jones and husband, Kenneth, of Phalba; sons, David Gillespie Jr., of Marshall, Steven Schmidt Sr., and Jeffrey L. Seay and wife, Pam, both of Waco; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, A.W. Hines; sisters, Geneva Gardner and husband, John, Ludie Hobbs, LaVelle Swab Hines and Lenora Hines; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and cousins.
