Funeral services for Hazel {Fullilove} Wall, 91, a former Atoka area resident, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 13 at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel in Atoka with the Rev. John Howard officiating. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery in Pottsboro, Texas under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service in Atoka. A homemaker, she died on Monday, November 8, 2010 at her home in Farmington, Arkansas. Born in Pittsburg, Texas on July 1, 1919, she was the daughter of John Henry and Hettie Jane{Abbott} Fullilove. She graduated from school in Sherman, Texas. Wall had attended Bentley Baptist Church and Hillcrest Baptist Church where she played the organ and piano. She married the Rev. Augusta Freeman Wall on July 4, 1939 in Sherman, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 12, 1980 in Atoka. Together the Walls served churches in Pilot Point, Texas; Milburn and Wapanucka in Oklahoma; Arkansas City, Kansas; Winslow, Dutch Mill and Vandervoort in Arkansas; and in Bentley. Also preceding her in death were her parents, John Henry and Hettie Jame {Abbott} Fullilove. Survivors include her children, John and wife, Nancy; Clara Taylor and husband, Lonnie; George and wife, Sherri; Ron and wife, Debbie; 14 grandchildren, 15 great-granchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
