Daughter of Daniel Walter Ross and Jane Williams Garrison. Married J. M. Fussell, her childhood sweetheart, on January 15, 1906 in San Antonio, Texas. She was his second wife. Jeff and Sue did not have any children together, but she became stepmother to his eight living children: James David Fussell Elizabeth "Lizzie" Fussell Maude Fussell Ruth Fussell Jesse Aubrey Fussell Bertie F Fussell J Oscar Fussell Gladys Fussell She was 77 years old, widowed, and residing at the home of her niece, Lizzie Ray Urban in San Antonio, Texas when she died.
