Bio

Rudolf Novotny, 57 of Abbott, was found dead early Saturday. He was killed sometime Friday night or early Saturday in a one-car accident one mile west of Penelope on Farm Road 2114 in Hill County. Services were held Monday. It is believed he suffered a heart attack while driving. He was a native of Abbott and had lived in the Abbott area all of his life. Survivors include his wife; one son, Rudolf John Novotny in the U.S. Air Force at Wichita Falls; two daughters; one brother, Jerry Novotny of Abbott and 3 sisters.
