Bio

James Scobee,a miner,of North Main,was caught under a fall of rock Wednesday morning at Big Creek mine and was so badly injured that he died early Wednesday afternoon.He was rushed to the A.S.O. hospital and after examining his injuries Dr. George pronounced him the worst injured man ever brought to the hospital alive.Four of his inner vertebrae were crushed,two of his ribs were broken,several others dislocated and his left foot crushed.The bereaved family have the sympathy of the community.
