Antonio "Tonie" Josephine Zapalac Antonio "Tonie" Josephine Zapalac, 93, died Sunday, July 25, 2010. She was born to Maria Charba Pesl and Anton Pesl on Feb. 24, 1917 in Cistern. She was preceded in death by her husband, O. T. Zapalac. Rosary was held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27 at Marrs-Jones Funeral Home and at 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, July 28 at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Cathoic Church in Cistern. Mass of Christian burial was held at 11 a.m. at Sts.
