Bio

Raymond Eugene Campbell, age 76, of Massillon, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2010. He was born in Limestone Cove, Tennessee on January 4, 1934 to the late Elijah and Leola Campbell. Raymond retired from Hendrickson-Turner Suspensions in 1996. He enjoyed gardening and was an avid outdoorsman. He used to drag race in Magnolia years ago and enjoyed watching NASCAR. Raymond enjoyed spending time with his family, and adored his dogs, Ginger and Emma. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Alma Nadine Hall. Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-seven years, Shirley Campbell; four children, Richard Campbell, Sandy (Dale) Schemansky, David (Linda) Campbell, and Sharon Campbell; grandchildren, Bryan, Tiffany, Tim, Amanda, Nicholas, Benjamin, and Madeleine; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Edna Pauline Tichenor, Carolyn Boley, and Peggy Bernet; his brother, Gene Campbell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel. Burial will follow in East Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home. Published in The Repository on November 9, 2010.
