Northwest Florida Daily News 3 May 2005 Eldred Collins Chandler Jr. Eldred Collins "EC" Chandler Jr., age 77, of Daphne, Ala., and formerly of Fort Walton Beach and Bonifay, Fla., passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, May 1, 2005. He was born on June 25, 1927. EC was a retired veteran of the U.S. Air Force, then a retired civil servant from Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. He was a member of Masonic Temple (Alpha 172). He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor "Ellie" White Chandler; and two sisters, Katherine Faulk and Janice Paulson. He is survived by one brother, Carl Chandler of Mississippi; his children: sons, Duane C. (Carol) Chandler of Palm Beach, Fla., Rick (Kelly) Chandler of Las Vegas, and daughters, Diana (Teddie) Mills and Ginny (Tom) Purcell of Shalimar, Fla., and Mary Perice of Daphne; grandchildren, Cindy, Tifanie, Krystin, Eric, Jason, Kyle, Elaina, Natalie and Anna; great-grandchildren, Linus, Eva and Tristin; and several nieces and nephews. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home in Bonifay. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, at Poplar Head Church Cemetery. Arrangements and services are entrusted with Peel Funeral Home. Floral arrangements are welcome; or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
