Son of Jefferson Early Shook, born Texas, and Mattie Stout, born Rusk, Texas. Married Sinia Norris on June 16, 1896 in Cherokee County, Texas. He was a newsboy, 69 years old, married, and a resident of Fort Worth, Texas when he died. Informant was Mrs. B. F. Crabtree, Fort Worth, Texas; burial was September 30, 1944. Edward Pace, Temple, Texas was in charge of arrangements. (Texas death certificate# 41081)
