Texarkana Gazette Wednesday, Dec. 18, 1996 DAVID PHARES David Lynn Phares, 54, of Redwater, Texas, died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 1996, in a local hospital. Mr. Phares was born Oct. 6, 1942, in Redwater. He was a truck owner-operator and member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Francis Phares of Redwater; two daughters, Shannon Teague of Kentucky and Sharon Hodges of Dallas, Texas; two sons, David Austin and Joseph Austin of California; two brothers, Wallace Phares Jr. of Redwater and Billy J. Phares of Shreveport, La.;and seven grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Texarkana Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Redwater Cemetery.
