Bio
She was the wife of James McGregor Bertram. He never came to America. They had one son, David Paul Janish Bertram. Mary Ann came to America in the early part of 1900. She arrived in Gonzales to live with son David and his family. Due to a disagreement between mother and son Mary Ann left. Mary Ann was a resident of the Letita Rosenberg Home for Women on Galveston Island, Texas from 1909 until her death in 1928.
