John Moeller of Westphalia Dies at 69 John C. Moeller, Sr., age 69, of Westphalia, died Saturday night at his home of an apparent heart attack. Funeral was held at 2 p.m. November 21st in Westphalia with the Rev. Harold Hughes officiating. Burial followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Westphalia. Rosary was recited at the Hoelscher Funeral Home Sunday night. Mr. Moeller was a native and lifelong resident of Westphalia. He was a retired farmer and was a member of the St. Michael Society and the Church of Visitation. Survivors include his wife, Dora Moeller of Westphalia; two sons, Johnny Moeller of Austin and Dennis Moeller of Taylor; a sister, Mrs. Marie Terry of Brenham; and three grandchildren. John Moeller married the former Dora Hoelscher on May 14, 1937 at St. Mary’s Church of the Assumption in West. Relatives attended the funeral from West, Tours, Waco, Cyclone, Houston, Temple, Rosebud-Lott, Seaton and San Antonio.
