Bio

Ben B. Hoelscher, 91, of Lott, formerly of Westphalia, died Tuesday night in a Marlin Hospital. Rosary will be recited at 8 pm today in Hoelscher Funeral Home in Rosebud. Services will be at 10 am Friday at Church of visitation in Westphalia, Rev. Harold Hughes officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Westphalia. Mr. Hoelscher was a native of Westphalia. He lived there and in Lott all his life. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lott and St. Michael's Society. Survivors include three sons, Florence Hoelscher of Lott, Robert Joseph Hoelser and Gerald Hoelscher, both of Westphalia; three daughters, Mrs. Esidore (Alma) Friesehahn of New Braunfels, Mrs. Walter (Olivia) Hoelscher of Westphalia and Mrs. Wilbert (Zita) Rohmfeld of Pep; four brothers, Fred Hoelscher, Gerard Hoelscher and Phillip Hoelscher, all of Westphalia, and Chris Hoelscher of Plainveiw; two sisters, Mrs. Louis Wilde of Wall and sister Opportuna of San Antonio; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
