Funeral services for Frankie Maude Barclay, 92, of Corrigan were held Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, from the Corrigan Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Herman Hendrix officiating. Interment followed in Friendship Cemetery. Mrs. Barclay was born May 23, 1909 in Polk County and died Monday, Feb. 11, in a Lufkin hospital. She was a housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church of Corrigan. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.G. "Red" Barclay. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Judith Barclay of Wisswa, Minn.; daughters and sons-in-law, Aileen and Bob Anderson of Pearland, LeNita and Carl Standley of Corrigan, Betty Sue Lovett of Victoria and May Ann and John Vance of Pearland; sisters-in-law, Mae Manry of Houston and Edwina Chastain of Lufkin; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers were her grandsons. Obituary edited.
