Cumby, Tex., Oct. 5. --- Mrs. Dr. J. E. McFarlan, aged about 50, died here yesterday afternoon of cancer of the stomach. She was a daughter of Capt. Merit Branam, lately deceased. Dallas News 10-16-1900
