from Diane: Luella (Asbury)Clendenen was born April 12, 1853 in Illinois. She was a daughter of Archibald and Lucy (Miller) Asbury. She married Josiah Clendenen before 1872, likely in Iowa. By 1900 they were living with their children in Harney co., Oregon and had moved to Washington before 1920. She died Jan. 1, 1934 in Whatcome co., Washington.
