Bio

Wallace, Sharon K. (Bruha), 57, went home with her Lord on October 20, 2010. She was born on April 12, 1953 in Ord, NE. She fought the good fight, outlived all of her expectations and time frames that were given during her 1 <1/2>yr. battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She defeated the battle and got the greatest gift of all her wings. She was a devout Catholic who was also a Religious Ed. teacher. She enjoyed the outdoors, was involved in many activities including being a Brownies leader, Jaycettes and church. She loved helping people and animals. Sharon truly loved her friends and family and will be remembered for her courage, strength, and unconditional love. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Irene (Kosmicki) Bruha of North Platte, NE. She is survived by sisters, Diane Brewer of Virginia Beach, VA, Pamela (Riley) Trew of North Platte, NE and Marcella (Daniel) Lord of Augusta, KS. Survivors also include daughters with Leonard Wallace: Rachel (Damon) Ross, Amanda (Chris Webster) Wallace, Sarah (Robert) Gulick, all of Wichita, KS; grandchildren, who she lived her life for include: Saleena, Damon Jr, and Raegan Ross, Kaylynn and Jai Scarboro, Samantha and Olyvia Webster and Tyler and Garrett Gulick; 13 nieces & nephews and 19 great nieces & nephews; all of whom were very dear to her heart as well as the entire Wallace family in Arkansas. Visitation 10am-5pm Tuesday, at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Rosary 7pm Tuesday; Funeral Mass 10am Wednesday, both at St. Mary Faith Center, 2300 E. Meadowlark.
