Bio
Steiner Kenneth Steiner, 79, a native of Baldwin County and a resident of Robertsdale, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010. He served in the U.S. Navy, a veteran of the Korean War, and was a member of Oyster Bay Baptist Church, Bon Secour and the Robertsdale Masonic Lodge #821. During his retirement years he enjoyed selling kettle corn at local festivals and being the Senior Citizen's Santa Clause in Central Baldwin County for many years. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, JoAnn Steiner of Robertsdale; daughter, Elisa Dawn (Matt) Burns of Houston County, Ga.; two sons, Keith (Diane) Steiner of Loxley and Conrad (Debra) Steiner of Ann Arbor, Mich.; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. with funeral services at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21 at Oyster Bay Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Peebles officiating. Burial will follow at Oyster Bay Baptist Church Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations be made to Oyster Bay Baptist Church, 4280 Plash Road, Gulf Shores, AL 36542.
