Bio

BELTON — Services for Laura C. Clark, 86, of Belton will be 11 a.m. Monday at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with the Rev. Mike Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery in Belton. Mrs. Clark died Thursday, Oct. 14, in a Temple nursing home. She was born on March 31, 1924, to Edwin and Clara Carsten Phillips in Salado. On Sept. 24, 1941, she married J.D. Clark in Belton. She was a member of Miller Heights Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband on July1, 1998. Survivors include a son, Gary Clark of Temple; a daughter, Gailen Rovelli of Temple; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Miller Heights Baptist Church in Belton. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today the funeral home. TEMPLE DAILY TELEGRAM. Published: October 17, 2010.
